Co-Director of Education, Lisa Friedman

Lisa Friedman serves our congregation as co-director of education, Special Needs Coordinator for the Religious School and teacher of a sixth grade Judaica class. In each role she upholds one of the core principals of our congregation: to teach Torah to all of our children, and to find ways to allow each individual student to rise to his or her full potential as a Reform Jew.

Lisa is a graduate of Rutgers College with a B.S. in Psychology. She also holds a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Rutgers. Lisa is certified to teach special education in grades K-12 and elementary education in grades K-8. She worked in the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District for six years where she taught students in grades 6 through 8 in a self-contained classroom setting, as well as Reading and Language Arts in a 4th grade Resource Room.

Lisa and her husband Gary and their two young children live in Hillsborough and are members of the Temple Beth-El congregation.

To contact Lisa, please call her at 908-722-0674, ext. 27 or e-mail Lisa Friedman.
