A Note from Our Librarian

The Library at Temple Beth El is a vibrant home for taking your Jewish Education to the next level. It has always been my thought that reading a Jewish book is the equivalent of sitting down for a few hours with a brilliant person. You can become enlightened on Jewish life or become engaged in a wonderful Jewish story.

Temple Beth-El’s library collection has over 2,000 books - satisfying a range of reading levels from pre-school age to adults; we want all ages to be able to enjoy reading about their Jewish heritage. In addition, it is our goal in the coming year to expand our multimedia area and begin offering Jewish DVDs including: Fiddler on the Roof, Schindler's List and The Frisco Kid (one of my favorites!).

We are always looking for donations to add to our collection. Please see our Wish List for items we are would like to obtain. Consider renting our Bimah Baskets for your special day and help support our library.

On behalf of the Library Committee, I invite you to visit the library, by yourself or with your children, and enjoy some of our wonderful Jewish books or movies. And please think about joining our committee.

L’Shalom,

Shuey Horowitz
